BIOGRAPHY

Tom Spencer is West London born and bred.
His father (John B Spencer) a musician his mother (Lou Spencer) an artist.
His life has followed both creative paths.
“To rebel against my folks I’d have had to become a banker”

After studying graphic design at collage (Hounslow now West Thames) full time music became his life.

After a record deal collapsed with Sub Pop, he sought an alternative, undertaking a tattoo apprenticeship.

“I was escaping the sex drugs and Rock n roll”

It turned out the tattoo world was even more rife with the above.

This is when he first took up the art of stained glass.

First leaning the traditional methods, then incorporation his life into his own works - graphic design, tattoo art and rock’n’roll.

He continues to produce art at his studio in Park Royal, where when time allows he also takes on traditional restoration and commissions.

He continues to make music in various bands and
as a solo artist.

“It’s taken a while but I’ve now got the perfect blend between creative worlds”
